I'm a Veterinarian...Get me out of here!
...Is not something Pete van Dongen from the Pennard Veterinary Group will be shouting any time soon and there will be no Ant 'n' Dec where he's going. Pete will soon be off for a true jungle adventure to Borneo and it's all for a great cause as Pete explained:
"This time I'm off to Borneo, to do a Jungle Trek, walking the Headhunter's Trail, exploring bat infested caves, doing some caving myself (claustrophobia notwithstanding!), visiting wildlife parks with Proboscis monkeys, Hornbills and Pygmy elephants, climbing Mount Kinabalu, and seeing Orang Utans in the famous Sepilok Orang Utan orphanage! Oh, and dealing with creepy crawlies, which freaks me out a bit.
I've chosen yet another charity, this time "The Cure Parkinson's Trust". The charity is actively searching for a cure for this disease, which affects millions of people all over the world.
