HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM FOR VETERINARY TREATMENT

NEW AND EXCLUSIVE TO VETSURE ACCREDITED PRACTICES!  Ask your vet about our award winning E-Claims system!  At the discretion of your vet, claims can now be processed digitally:

  1. Your vet submits all the claim details via a secure online portal
  2. You receive an email asking you to confirm the details and provide an electronic signature
  3. We do the rest!

If your veterinary practice is not Vetsure accredited, or doesn’t yet offer E-Claims, then you should follow the steps below when you wish to make a claim:

STEP 1: You need to complete a Claim Form. You can simply download and print off a Claim Form at the bottom of this page OR you can call the Claims Team on freephone 0800 050 2022 (option 2).

STEP 2: The named Policyholder (or another person they have authorised) must complete and sign the appropriate sections of the claims form as indicated.

STEP 3: Your Vet must complete and sign Section 2 of the claim form.

STEP 4: Please ensure all sections are filled in as any omissions may delay the claim decision.

STEP 5: The form should then be returned to us with a case history and originals of any invoices related to your pet’s treatment. Please post to:

Alternatively, you can email the completed Claims Form and supporting documents to [email protected]

STEP 6: You may wish to make copies of any documents you send to us for your records.

STEP 7: We have an arrangement whereby the vet is usually paid directly. For any eligible treatments, you normally need only pay the vet the applicable excess.
