Persians are an old breed and are well known for their long, luxurious fur and their distinct, sweet expressions. They can experience a variety of health problems including breathing difficulty, eye conditions and excessive tearing. Persians have a flat face, round eyes and heads which also can be quite large. Persians come in a large variety of colours and patterns, including silver, golden, blue and Himalayan. They do require frequent grooming as their coat does shed regularly.
