Vetsure Covid-19 Update
The Vetsure team are fully set up to work from home. It's business as usual for us so please feel free to call us to talk about your policy or email [email protected] To help us minimise delay, we're asking you to avoid posting claim forms to us where possible. Claims can be emailed to us at [email protected] or, if your practice is part of our network, please ask your Vet to submit your claim digitally via their Vetsure e-claims option. Thank you. We wish you and your pets the very best of health.

Every year, more than 6,000 pets go missing. Whilst collars and tags help recover pets, they are far from reliable. There’s no guarantee that a collar and tag will stay with your pet, but there are no such worries with pet microchips. A pet microchip is a tiny electronic chip (the size of a grain of rice) which is injected into your pet as simply and quickly as any other injection. Then if your pet goes missing it’s as if it has its own barcode. Stray pets are routinely scanned for the microchips by vets, rescue kennels, stray dog homes etc – there are over 4000 scanners in the UK. This brings up the computer record with your details, and in moments the pet’s owner and details will be known. You can get your pet microchipped at your local vet. Remember, with Vetsure Cover & Care, you will get £10 off the cost of this procedure.
