Dog found abandoned during Glastonbury clean up

A team of around 800 workers have started the mammoth task of clearing an estimated 11 tonnes of clothes and camping gear which were abandoned by the 175,000 attendees at the site.  Animal rescue workings are trying to trace the owner of a dog that was abandoned in a tent at the Glastonbury Festival which was found during the clean-up.
The lurcher was found in a tent as workers were cleaning the site on Tuesday.
She’s been named Dolly, after star of the festival Dolly Parton, and is now recovering at the Happy Landings Animal Shelter in Pylle in Somerset.
