Dogs take part in record ‘sit and stay’

Dogs sit and stay

At this year’s International Agility Festival, more than 2000 dogs will attempt to break the Guinness world record for the ‘Largest Simultaneous Dog Stay’. The record is based on the largest number of dogs to successfully “sit and stay” over a two minute period.

The current record is 627 dogs. Practice runs will be carried out throughout the day before the record-breaking attempt at the end of the day.

There will also be a selection of dog agility displays, featuring talented competition from all over the world.

The event is hosted by the Kennel Club and will take place from August 9 to 11 at Rockingham Castle.
