Spending Halloween with your cat!

Cats may be scared of fireworks and a little bit timid when it comes to trick or treaters knocking on your door, but one thing’s for sure, they will love to be spoilt by you this popular season!

So, whether you have a quiet lap kitty, or an energetic feline with the zoomies, you can be sure to find something to do this meow-loween with your cat!

Here are our top three things to do with your cautious cat this autumn.

  1. Carve a kitty pumpkin – It can be really fun to carve a pumpkin that looks just like your furry friend. There are some free cat pumpkin carving patterns and stencils here that you could use as a template!
  2. Make a spooky cave hideout – If your cat is especially timid and scared this time of year, a spooky cave will be ideal. Fill it up with some comfy blankets, some cushions and maybe even throw some little Halloween inspired cat treats in there.
  3. Watch a scary movie with your cat – Many cats love to snuggle up this year and completely avoid trick or treaters and fireworks! If your cat is just like this, why not cosy up with lots of blankets and watch a scary movie with them. The warmth and presence of your cat being with you during the scary parts of the film can be really comforting and reassuring. And your cat most likely will be happy with some healthy treats whilst you tuck into your popcorn!
