Modern Slavery Statement

TVIS Ltd T/A Vetsure is a provider of pet insurance services, offering policies that help pet owners cover the cost of veterinary care and other pet-related expenses. We operate primarily in the UK and partner with veterinary professionals, third-party service providers, and insurers to deliver our products.

We are a privately owned business and employ 60+ employees, who operate from our head office based in Hertfordshire, UK.

We are committed to operating our business ethically and with integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and are dedicated to ensuring that such practices have no place in our operations or supply chain.

We are committed to transparency within our business and to promptly deal with any issues that may arise in connection to modern slavery. We expect the same high standards from our suppliers.

Modern slavery is a continuously reviewed topic within TVIS Ltd T/A Vetsure and an internal working group consisting of the HR, Learning and Development Manager, Compliance Manager and the Procurement Manager meet regularly to review any changes in our supply chain. When business changes occur, actions are updated or replaced to ensure our statement remains current.

While the risk of modern slavery in our direct business operations is low, given our personnel policies and training, we recognise potential risks in our extended supply chain, which includes:

• IT and software providers.
• Marketing and customer service contractors.
• Office and facility management suppliers.
• Professional services (legal, financial, consultancy).
• Veterinary practices.
• Veterinary medical suppliers.

We aim to engage with reputable suppliers, who share our values and who are committed to complying with ethical labour practices. Where possible, we have built long-standing relationships with our third parties, including suppliers, and checking their modern slavery statement and commitment is part of the onboarding process and ongoing monitoring of these relationships.  Where appropriate, our standard contracts with suppliers require both parties to comply with all applicable laws, including laws regarding modern slavery. Supplier contracts are not awarded to any supplier unable to comply with the undertakings detailed in the UK Modern Slavery Act. We reserve the right to cease doing business with any existing supplier if they do not agree to comply with this statement or our policies (outlined below).

We have processes in place to assess and manage our third-party relationships, both new and established, from the onboarding process and ongoing monitoring of these as well as a tender process for new supplier meetings and service level agreements.

We undertake due diligence to assess and address risks of modern slavery in our supply chain. This includes:

• Conducting risk assessments based on geography, industry, and the nature of the services/products provided.
• Engaging with suppliers to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Reviewing supplier policies and ethical codes of conduct.
• Providing third parties with information surrounding our company values to ensure these are adhered to.

We intend to review our policies regularly, share more information about the impact of modern slavery and to train our employees to better understand how modern slavery can occur and how they can report any concerns they have within our supply chain.

We have the following policies in place:

• Code of Conduct & Company Values: Outlines expected professional standards and ethical behaviour for all employees and suppliers.
• Whistleblowing Policy: Encourages staff to report concerns about unethical or illegal conduct.
• Third party onboarding process: Requires third parties to adhere to our company values and includes several checks including their modern slavery statement

Employees involved in procurement and vendor management will receive training each year on identifying risks of modern slavery and escalating concerns appropriately.

To measure the effectiveness of our efforts, we track the following:

• Number of supplier risk assessments and reviews conducted.
• Training completion rates.
• Reports of concerns raised and how they were addressed.

We are continually improving our approach to identifying and mitigating risks of modern slavery.

At TVIS Ltd T/A Vetsure we continue to engage with our employees and supply chain to maintain awareness of modern slavery and to understand how we can continue to take steps to eradicate it.

We are committed to the welfare of our employees, customers, suppliers and stakeholders. We feel that there is more that can be done to eradicate modern slavery in the UK. By keeping modern slavery high on our agenda, we believe we can help make a difference.

To report any concerns of modern slavery, please report this immediately to the Compliance Manager or the HR, Learning and Development Manager by email.

No modern slavery or human rights issues in our operations or our supply chain have been reported to us and we have not been made aware of concerns via publicly available news sources.

This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of TVIS Ltd T/A Vetsure and acknowledges that procedures are in place to mitigate the risk of modern slavery, along with the future plans to guard the business against modern slavery and human trafficking.
