Macqueen Veterinary Centre

Ian and Jacky Macqueen established the practice in 1990, convinced that a small companion animal practice could provide the highest standards of veterinary care.

They aim to combine the most up-to-date techniques and products with a compassionate attitude to patient and client. Each patient receives the same care that they would give their own cherished companions.

They are an independent, family-owned veterinary practice on the outskirts of Devizes, Wiltshire. Their focus will always be on high-quality, compassionate care.

They want what you want: for your pet to be in tiptop condition throughout their life, from birth to senior years, so they can enjoy life to the full.

If they are unwell or injured, they have an experienced team of vets and nurses will care for them, equipped with the latest equipment for diagnosis and treatment. They also have our own experts in orthopaedics (Ian Macqueen) and ophthalmology (Ida Gilbert), as well as a visiting cardiologist (Andrew Francis), so many specialised treatments can be provided there. Most importantly, they will ensure that you are involved at every stage in choosing the best treatment for them.

They are always there for your pet 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Their own vets are on call and their nurses provide the on-site 24-hour nursing care.

After out-growing their building in the centre of town, they designed and built their new premises on the edge of Devizes. Each year they continue to grow and develop their facilities allowing them to provide the best possible care for your pet.

They have only been able to achieve this by building their amazing team of caring vets, nurses, receptionists and support staff. They all have a passion for lifelong learning and many of their  team either have, or are studying for, further qualifications to enhance the services that they can offer you and your pet.
