Wood Street Veterinary Group – Holders Hill

Holders Hill Veterinary Surgery was established in September 2003.

They have a highly dedicated and skilled team of Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses and Receptionists to look after all of your pets needs.  They have a 24-hour emergency service at their head office practice, Wood Street Veterinary Hospital in Barnet. There is always someone available to take your call in an emergency situation out of hours and they can arrange for your pet to be seen there if necessary. Their surgery is fully equipped for everyday operations, but occasional specialised procedures may be referred to the main hospital if necessary.  They have an animal ambulance based at Wood Street Veterinary Hospital to assist their clients with transport and can provide a medication and food delivery service if required.

The surgery consists of a large bright reception area, consulting room, wards area for inpatients and an operating theatre. They have modern anaesthetics and monitoring equipment to ensure the safety of your pet.  They have laboratory equipment to run in-house tests to ensure we have your pet’s results quickly.  Some more extensive tests may be sent to Wood Street Veterinary Hospital or to an external laboratory.  They have x-ray facilities at the surgery, however for more extensive tests your pet may be referred to Wood Street Veterinary Hospital where they have a digital x-ray machine and processor, which produces high quality x-rays to assist with diagnosis.

There is usually easy parking in front of the parade and we also provide parking spaces at the rear of the surgery to make your visit easier.  Consultations are Monday to Saturday by appointment to ensure your pets are seen on time. Out of hours emergencies at night or weekends are seen at Wood Street Veterinary Hospital by prior arrangement.  For your convenience, their phone line gets automatically diverted to the Hospital when they are closed so you do not have to find another phone number to call.  As their computer systems are linked, the duty vet and nurse at the Hospital have all of your pet’s records available to help ensure the best advice and treatment.
