Mr Robert Gardner founded Oakwood Veterinary Surgery in the early 1990’s. Bob retired from general practice in 2001 and Tony White and Philip Barr of Wood Street Veterinary Hospital took over the practice. Tony White graduated from Bristol University in 1992 and joined the hospital as an assistant. He later became a partner in 1997. Philip Barr who also qualified from Bristol in 1991 joined Tony in 2001. The vets responsible for the day-to-day running of Oakwood Veterinary Surgery are Beth Walding and Helen Titmarsh.
