Damory Veterinary Clinic is a modern country veterinary practice providing care for all animal species in Dorset. We have been supplying veterinary services from Damory Lodge in Blandford Forum for over 80 years. We have three dedicated veterinary teams providing experienced care for small animals (pets), horses and farm animals.
Each team are supported by our veterinary nursing and support staff so that if your animal requires routine care or emergency treatment, we have experience and expertise in each of our veterinary departments.
Damory Veterinary Clinic Small Animal department employs eight vets with varying and complementary interests to offer first rate care to our companion animals.
In addition to offering a caring and compassionate approach to routine veterinary care, their vets have undertaken higher studies in surgery, diagnostic imaging, and ophthalmology, in order to provide a better standard of care. They have a close relationship with the largest local animal sanctuary Margaret Green Animal Rescue, the local Cats Protection organisation and also assist in the veterinary care at Monkey World ape rescue centre.
We provide all our own emergency vet care service 24/7 and the small animal hospital and surgery is always staffed 24 hours a day to provide optimal care for our in-patients.
Their vets are ably supported by a team of qualified registered veterinary nurses and the practice operates as a training centre for their five student veterinary nurses.
